South Texas Trophy Whitetail Hunts   The Wilson Whitetail Ranch (WWR) is located one hour from San Antonio in the legendary South Texas Brush Country game rich area of Uvalde County. The operation established in 1998 (8 years ago) offers Trophy Big Game & Bird Hunting for 40 species of game from all over the world. Full Service & Self service packages are available on limited basis. Providing a relaxing setting surrounded by “good people” that are professional with a passion for the sport & the will to ensure you and/or your guests have a pleasurable experience and leave happy is what we deliver. We invite you to fulfill your dream or entertain your guests at the WWR. Great facilities with a one of a kind entertainment patio that are exclusively reserved for your groups private hunting experience and “no surprises” does set us apart from others. Whitetails This is where we started back in 1998 and it’s included in the name of the ranch. Our guests have harvested over 100 whitetail bucks and we know how to produce & hunt big deer. WWR has won (2) 1st places in area contests during the 2004 season. A new ranch record of 184” was harvested in the early 2005 season to beat out the 2004 ranch record of 174”. Hunting only on our privately owned ranch for mature Whitetail Bucks using premium 3 person blinds overlooking feed routes and food plots scattered throughout the heavy south Texas brush and rattling during the rut is the norm for this part of the country. These are very successful practices for hunters who harvest 10% of Texas’s 4.5 million deer herd which is the largest in the country. With a 3 Buck to 1 Doe ratio on our ranch, you can expect to see plenty of bucks when you hunt with the WWR. Each hunter has a personal guide who has a passion for the quality hunt and will estimate the age & score of each mature buck you see & will help you select the buck of your dreams. An out of state Texas Hunting License with all your tags is $300 & can be purchased upon your arrival at our hunting store. Season October through February Silver Hunt Package $3,500 Includes a mature buck less than 140” + a hog & varmints Gold Hunt Package $300 per day + trophy harvest fee 140’s ~ $4,500 150’s ~ $5,500 160”s ~ $6,500 170’s ~ $10,000 180 + ~ call for pricing Lodging, meals, snacks, beverages, evening open bar, 1x1 guide, & airport transfers included Meat processing & taxidermy services are available Lodging & Accommodations   Hunting, Non-Hunting, & Business Meeting Guests will enjoy our accommodations on either ranch depending on which package you select. Our facilities are exclusively reserved for your group of three or more guests and our professional and personable staff will attend to the details that ensure you will have a quality outdoor experience which can be confirmed through written testimonials and comments from our guests about how they felt more like our friends in camp than a customer at a commercial operation. The Lodge with entertainment patio is where guests will stay that select our guided all-inclusive packages. The lodge is decorated with rustic furniture and game harvested from our ranch and South Africa. The lodge has 4 bedrooms (12 beds), 3 bathrooms, a TV room w/leather recliners & couch, kitchen, & dinning table. The 1600 sq. foot outdoor covered entertainment patio is a main attraction and a one of kind. It has dinning tables, pool table, poker table, mesquite wood serving bar, ice machine, reach in cooler, neon lights, stereo, & a massive rock fireplace with rocking chairs. You certainly will find yourself enjoying time here when not hunting. Upon arrival at the lodge, expect to receive a guest orientation that includes an overview of our program, staff introductions, our gun safety policy, & sight in your firearm. Our cooks prepare delicious home cooked meals twice a day, offer snacks in the middle of the day, and an evening bar is stocked with your favorite beer, wine, or premium stock liquor along with hot appetizers after the days hunt.     The Guest House is where guests will stay that select our semi-guided self service packages. The house has 3 bedrooms (6 beds), 2 bathrooms, fire place, wrap around couch, lounge chairs, kitchen w/cook ware, microwave, refrigerator, oven stove, & dinning table. There are front & back covered porches and an outdoor fire pit & BBQ grill. Guests will need to bring everything necessary except what is available as mentioned above. Upon arrival expect to receive a guest orientation that includes an overview of our program, our gun safety policy, & sight in your firearm. This is a new WWR ranch record scoring 184 7/8” & this deer is currently leading the Texas Buck & Boar Whitetail Contest & Leading the Los Cazadores Contest in the Most Non-Typical Inches Category   Business Entertainment We absolutely understand the time, demands, and logistics required to coordinate a group of business associates and customers on a hunting trip. We know the “Client Entertainment” business and can customize a package that meets your needs. Details like invoices, payment plans & options, fixed budgets, airport transfers, meat processing, & taxidermy work can all be included in a package. We will take care of most if not all of the requirements, logistics, & services you need, so you can enjoy the trip along while your clients are having a great time. Please contact us to discuss putting together a program for your business Reservation Deposit Policy If anyone in the booking party or the entire party cancels a reservation for any reason including weather related, rescheduling within the same season at a mutually agreeable date is permitted or those deposits will be forfeited & non refundable. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required for each person to hold your dates. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for corporate/business’s to hold your dates. A confirmation will be mailed within 30 days of receiving your deposit.
